Summary of common grades of plastic polyethylene

Polyethylene (PE) is a common plastic material widely used in various industries due to its good processability, chemical corrosion resistance, and excellent insulation performance. Here is a summary of some common polyethylene grades.
1. LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) LDPE is a common grade of polyethylene with low density, good flexibility, and transparency. It is commonly used to make packaging materials such as plastic film, plastic bags, plastic bottles, etc. Common LDPE grades are: - LDPE2426K: applicable to film, thin bag and foam products. -LDPE 2047K: Suitable for blow molding, drag chain lines, furniture corners, wire and cable protective covers, etc. -LDPE 4024K: Suitable for films, flame retardant and freezer bags, etc. 2. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) HDPE is a high-density polyethylene with high hardness and strength. It is usually used to make containers, pipes, buckets, and plastic films. The common HDPE grades are: HDPE5000S: suitable for the vast majority of applications in injection molding production. -HDPE7000F: Suitable for products with high quality and tensile performance requirements in injection molding production. -HDPE5502: Suitable for making plastic bottles, buckets, containers, etc. 3. LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene)

LLDPE is a type of low-density polyethylene with a linear structure. It has good toughness and impact resistance, and is commonly used in the production of films, cling films, and stretch films. Common LLDPE grades are:
- LLDPEC4-1110: suitable for making punching blown film, film and foam, etc.
-LLDPEC6-2180: It is suitable for making films, foam boards, fresh-keeping films and frozen food packaging bags.
-LLDPEC8-6380: Suitable for making high transparency films and stretch films.
4. MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene) is a polyethylene material between LDPE and HDPE, with high density and high impact toughness. Commonly used for making beer barrels, fertilizer bags, and pipes. The common MDPE grades are:
- MDPE2708: suitable for underground water supply pipelines, gas pipelines, and oil field pipelines, etc.
-MDPE2729: Suitable for sanitary engineering, pedestrian hard pipes, and sewers. In addition to the common polyethylene grades mentioned above, there are also some polyethylene materials for specific purposes, such as cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) used for cable insulation layers, and foamed polyethylene (PE Foam) used for packaging and sound insulation materials. Each polyethylene grade has its specific physical and chemical properties, so the selection needs to be based on specific application requirements.
